French President Emmanuel Macron on Sunday took aim at President Trump for his decision to withdraw the U.S. from the Paris climate agreement.

“Today is a big change,” Macron said while speaking at the first meeting of the International Solar Alliance in New Delhi, The Associated Press reported.

“Our solar mamas, who we just listened to, didn’t wait for us,” he said, referring to a group of women who were trained as solar engineers.

“They started to act and to deliver concrete results. They didn’t wait and they didn’t stop because some countries decided just to leave the floor and leave the Paris agreement,” he added, without naming Trump.

Trump announced last year he would withdraw the U.S. from the Paris climate accord.

Last week, a former White House adviser on international energy and environment issues said the White House has been considering a plan to rejoin the agreement.

George David Banks, who left the White House last week after reportedly learning that he would not be granted a permanent security clearance because of past marijuana use, said that while working with the administration, he had a plan in place for the U.S. to ultimately re-enter the international accord.

“There’s nothing in it for the president this year. There’s nothing in it for the president next year,” Banks said. But in 2020, “he’s going to want victories.”

Macron has in the past poked fun at Trump’s climate change denial.

During a speech earlier this year in Davos, Switzerland, he said: “Obviously and fortunately, you didn’t invite anybody skeptical with global warming this year.”
