Vicente Fox: Trump’s ‘hot-headed’ personality could lead to war

Former Mexican President Vicente Fox released a video this week criticizing President Trump and warning that his “hot-headed” personality could lead to war.

“If a war you want to start today isn’t so f—ing righteous that a young Donald Trump would have willingly served in it, then don’t send other young people to die in it,” Fox said in the video for entertainment site Super Deluxe.

Fox hit Trump for “bone spurs preventing you from serving your country [in Vietnam], but not serving on the tennis court.”

He said Trump may have a legitimate reason to go to war, warning there are “bad people out there.”

“There are bad people out there, doing bad things. In Iran, North Korea, even your BFF in Russia,” Fox said. “So sometimes there are going to be perfectly valid reasons to unleash your dragon on the world.”

“But before you do, ask yourself – are you doing this to to make the world a better, safer place?” Fox said. “Or are you doing it to make yourself feel bigger, or finally nudge your approval ratings over 40.”

He also had a suggestion for avoiding nuclear war.

“I suggest you keep a bag of cookies in the nuclear suitcase, and that way if you ever open it, you find the yummy cookies, and maybe you don’t feel like ending all life on Earth.”

Fox is a longtime critic of Trump. In January, he famously vowed that Mexico would never pay for Trump’s signature wall along the Mexican border, which was one of Trump’s main campaign promises.

“TRUMP, when will you understand that I am not paying for that f—– wall,” he tweeted in January. “Be clear with US tax payers. They will pay for it.”
