Utah Dem to propose ‘Stormy Daniels rampway’ for highway to be named after Trump

A Utah state senator said that he will propose an amendment to a bill naming a highway after President Trump to also name a road near the highway the “Stormy Daniels rampway.”

A Republican-sponsored bill in Utah’s state House would attach the president’s name to the Utah National Parks Highway as a nod to Trump’s decision to reduce the size of two national monuments in the state, according to The Salt Lake Tribune.

State Sen. Jim Dabakis (D) warned on Twitter that if the bill to rename the highway after Trump reaches the state Senate, he would put forward an amendment to name a road that runs alongside it the “Stormy Daniels rampway.”

Daniels, an adult film star whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, allegedly had a sexual encounter with Trump early on in his marriage to first lady Melania Trump. She reportedly received a $130,000 payment from Trump’s personal lawyer Michael Cohen to stay quiet about the affair.

However, CNN noted that Democrats hold less than 20 percent of the seats in the Utah state Senate, making it unlikely that the amendment would succeed.

Utah state lawmakers had advanced the legislation Monday, which would rename the National Parks Highway the “Donald J. Trump Utah National Parks Highway.”

State Rep. Michael Noel (R) introduced the bill on Thursday, saying, “This is a president who actually delivered on his promises. He has done great things for the state of Utah.”
