Trump: Kerry is hurting the country
President Trump early Tuesday again slammed John Kerry for the former secretary of State’s attempts to save the Iran nuclear deal, accusing him of “hurting [his] country.”
“John Kerry can’t get over the fact that he had his chance and blew it!” the president wrote on Twitter.
“Stay away from negotiations John, you are hurting your country!”

{mosads}Trump is expected to announce his formal decision on the Iran nuclear accord Tuesday, several days before the president’s self-imposed deadline for the United States to decide if it will withdraw from the Obama-era agreement.
The president on Monday criticized Kerry, who served in the Obama administration and helped broker the deal, for his efforts to shield the agreement and suggested the former secretary of State could be committing a crime.
“The United States does not need John Kerry’s possibly illegal Shadow Diplomacy on the very badly negotiated Iran Deal,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “He was the one that created this MESS in the first place!”
The Boston Globe reported last week that Kerry met with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif and French President Emmanuel Macron to discuss the agreement, which provided Tehran with sanctions relief in exchange for curbs to its nuclear program.
Trump has railed against the accord for years, arguing it was poorly negotiated.
The president said he will detail his decision on the deal Tuesday afternoon from the White House.
