Trump touts Rasmussen poll showing 46 percent approval rating
President Trump on Tuesday touted a survey from a conservative-leaning polling company that shows his approval rating at 46 percent.
“One of the most accurate polls last time around. But #FakeNews likes to say we’re in the 30’s. They are wrong. Some people think numbers could be in the 50’s. Together, WE will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” Trump wrote on Twitter, referring to the Rasmussen poll.

{mosads}Rasmussen’s daily presidential tracking poll had Trump’s approval rating at 46 percent on Monday. Fifty-three percent, according to the poll, do not approve of the job Trump is doing as commander in chief.
A Gallup poll released Monday found the president’s approval rating to be 37 percent. Fifty-nine percent of respondents said they disapprove of how Trump is handling his role as president.
Trump often endorses polls showing numbers in his favor while criticizing other surveys.
