Trump to Congress: ‘Get ready to do your job’ on DACA
President Trump told Congress to “get ready to do your job” on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program in a tweet on Tuesday just before an expected announcement that he is eliminating DACA.
“Congress, get ready to do your job – DACA!” Trump wrote on Twitter.

{mosads}The Justice Department said late Monday that Attorney General Jeff Sessions will make an announcement on Tuesday about the Obama-era immigration program, which temporarily defers the deportation of undocumented immigrants who were brought to the United States as minors and allows them to apply for work permits.
Politico reported Sunday that Trump will end the program with a six-month delay.
Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said last week he does not think Trump should end the program, arguing Congress should address DACA.
