Trump’s message at Holocaust memorial: ‘So amazing & will never forget’
President Trump visited Israel’s main Holocaust memorial on Tuesday, promising in a message in the guestbook to “never forget.”
“It is a great honor to be here with all of my friends — so amazing + will never forget!” Trump wrote in the book at Yad Vashem in Jerusalem before touring the exhibits.
{mosads}The chairman of the memorial told ABC News that Trump’s message at the Holocaust center was “very meaningful.”
“He touched all the essential elements that should be touched,” Avner Shalev said.
The remark was quickly picked apart by some Twitter users, however, who felt it was too glib.

“He forgot: ‘See you next summer,'” a reporter for the Times of Israel wrote.
Other users pointed out the contrast between Trump’s note and the poignant message left by former President Obama during his visit to Israel.
