NSC officials include Trump’s name as often as possible so he reads memos: report

National Security Council (NSC) officials include President Trump’s name in memos in as many paragraphs as possible to increase the chance he reads them, Reuters reported Wednesday.

NSC officials insert the president’s name in “as many paragraphs as we can because he keeps reading if he’s mentioned,” the report said.

It added that Trump likes short, single-page memos and likes to use visual aides.

“The guy’s a builder. He has spent his whole life looking at architectural renderings and floor plans,” an official reportedly said.

The president is preparing for his first foreign trip, which will include stops in Israel, the Vatican and Saudi Arabia.

{mosads}Ahead of the trip, Trump has been meeting with administration officials such as Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Secretary of Defense James Mattis, national security adviser H.R. McMaster and senior adviser Jared Kushner, his son-in-law, according to Reuters.

The trip comes as the Trump administration is battling several controversies. Reports on Monday said Trump revealed highly classified intelligence to Russian officials during a meeting last week.

On Tuesday, it was reported that Trump had asked FBI Director James Comey to end the federal investigation into former national security adviser Michael Flynn. Trump fired Comey two months later.
