Callista Gingrich being considered for Vatican ambassador: report

Callista Gingrich, the wife of former Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.), is being considered for the post of ambassador to the Vatican in President Trump’s administration, according to the New York Times.

The former House Speaker acknowledged in a phone interview with the Times that Callista Gingrich is under consideration, but wouldn’t elaborate further on the decision.
