Cracking the Tax Code: Prospects for Reform

As tax reform becomes a priority in Washington, administration leaders and law makers are engaged in efforts to modernize the U.S. tax code. 

Which proposals are currently under consideration? What might a lowering of the tax rate mean for businesses, individual tax payers, government revenue and the economy at large? How can current loopholes be closed and new ones prevented? Is there potential for bipartisanship here?

The Hill convened policymakers, tax policy experts and business leaders for a conversation about the prospects and potential impact of comprehensive tax reform.
