Obama pulls up his playlist for 2012
President Obama has his playlist ready for the campaign trail.
Obama’s campaign tweeted the “new official Obama 2012 campaign playlist,” on Thursday, which, according to the campaign, includes some of the president’s own favorites.
{mosads}The list includes “a little Wilco, a bit of No Doubt,” according to the tweet, as well as Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together,” a song that Obama sang at a recent fundraiser.
Not all of the picks are Obama’s, but the playlist is diverse, ranging from James Taylor and U2 to Florence + The Machine and Arcade Fire, and even dips into country with Dierks Bentley and Sugarland.
The list is available free on Spotify.
The president recently signed onto the music streaming service, yet another example of Obama’s aggressive outreach through social media.
Obama also shared the list on his Google+ page, where the campaign is asking for suggested additions.
