Malala Yousafzai meets with lawmakers
SPOTTED: Malala Yousafzai spending part of her summer break on Capitol Hill, holding hands with her dad on Tuesday as she prepared to lobby lawmakers for secondary education funding for girls.
ITK hears Yousafzai, co-founder of the non-profit Malala Fund, is poised to meet with several senators and members of Congress while in Washington.
The 17-year-old, who became the youngest Nobel Prize winner last year, is a student in the United Kingdom and is currently on break.
