Obama visits Prince Harry at Kensington Palace

Former President Obama visited Prince Harry at Kensington Palace in England on Saturday to discuss their foundations and offer their condolences to victims of the Manchester attack.

The official Kensington Palace Twitter account shared a photo of the two, which Obama later retweeted.

 

 

Nearly two dozen people died and more than 100 others were injured after a suicide bomber triggered an explosion on Monday night as attendees began to leave one of Grande’s concerts in Manchester.

{mosads}Obama issued a statement earlier in the week offering his condolences, tweeting that his “heart goes out to those killed and wounded in Manchester,” and that “Americans will always stand shoulder to shoulder with the people of the UK.”

Obama has spent the last week in Europe and visited the United Kingdom this weekend. Earlier in the week, he gave a speech in Berlin marking the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation.
