Reid fires back at Trump for mocking eye injury

Harry Reid says he only needs one good eye to see that Donald Trump is a “con-artist.”

Reid fired back at Trump on Friday morning after the GOP presidential nominee mocked the Senate minority leader’s exercise incident last year that injured one eye.

The Nevada Democrat tweeted that he’s “dealt with tougher opponents” than Trump:

Trump can make fun of the injury that took sight in my eye-I’ve dealt with tougher opponents. With my good eye, I see Trump is a con-artist.

{mosads}Trump took a shot at Reid during an interview with The Washington Post published Thursday, where he was asked about Reid’s assertion that Trump is “not slim and trim.”

“Harry Reid? I think he should go back and start working out again with his rubber work-out pieces,” Trump remarked.

Reid said last year that he lost vision in his right eye after he fell when a resistance band snapped while he was exercising, breaking bones in his face and ribcage.
