Trump: Megyn Kelly is very bad at math
Donald Trump is again going after Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, needling the host for misstating the Republican presidential candidate’s polling lead in a recent broadcast.
In several tweets Tuesday morning, the outspoken real estate tycoon described Kelly as the “most overrated anchor” at the network and suggested she is “very bad at math.”
{mosads}Trump took issue with a segment in Kelly’s broadcast on Monday night, where she talked about “Trump getting good news” in a national Monmouth University poll released Monday.
The graphic on screen correctly said the poll found Trump with 41 percent support, a 27-point lead over his closest rival Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas), but Kelly said he was “ahead of the pack 15 points.”
“I wonder if @megynkelly and her flunkies have written their scripts yet about my debate performance tonight. No matter how well I do – bad!” Trump said in a third tweet.
Trump is slated to appear center stage at the fifth GOP debate Tuesday night in Las Vegas, hosted by CNN. He memorably sparred with Kelly after the first debate hosted by Fox News in August.
A network official told The Hill that there was an error in the script Monday night and that it would be corrected during Tuesday evening’s program.
