Condoleezza Rice hosts DC fundraiser for super-PAC supporting conservative women
{mosads}It will be Rice’s second high-profile strategy session in recent days. Over the weekend, the former secretary of State addressed a group of high-dollar donors invited to a Utah retreat with Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.
Rice was widely lauded as the star speaker of the weekend, according to multiple media reports. Ambassador Charles Cobb, who served as ambassador to Iceland from 1989 to 1992, told ABC News Rice was “spectacular” and described her as a “very bright, sophisticated, articulate lady.”
Other attendees included Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush.
