Trump: ‘#Fake News is DISTORTING DEMOCRACY’
President Trump early Sunday blasted the news media for using unidentified sources and “highly slanted and even fraudulent reporting.”
“With all of its phony unnamed sources & highly slanted & even fraudulent reporting, #Fake News is DISTORTING DEMOCRACY in our country!” he tweeted.

Trump in an earlier tweet asked why his son Donald Trump Jr. is being “scorned by the Fake News Media.”
“HillaryClinton can illegally get the questions to the Debate & delete 33,000 emails but my son Don is being scorned by the Fake News Media?” Trump tweeted Sunday.

{mosads}Trump Jr. is facing backlash for a meeting with a Russian lawyer who claimed to have damaging information about Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton. A former Russian military intelligence services officer was also present at the meeting, as were top Trump campaign officials Jared Kushner and Paul Manafort.
Lawmakers are competing to get Trump Jr. to testify before their committees about the meeting. Trump Jr. said before releasing a full string of emails about the meeting last week that he would be “happy” to speak with the Senate Intelligence Committee.
Trump has repeatedly attacked Clinton for deleting emails from a private server while secretary of State, and for her team receiving questions for a CNN town hall from Democratic operative Donna Brazile before the event.
He has also often criticized negative media coverage of his campaign and administration as “fake news.”
