Avenatti calls Giuliani an ‘absolute pig’ over Stormy Daniels comment

Michael Avenatti, who represents adult-film star Stormy Daniels, ramped up his ongoing spat with Rudy Giuliani late Wednesday, calling President Trump’s attorney a “pig” for saying he doesn’t respect Daniels.

“Mr. Giuliani is an absolute pig for making those comments, he’s basically stating that women that engage in the adult-film industry and other forms of pornography don’t have reputations and are not entitled to respect,” Avenatti said during an appearance on CNN.

“I certainly hope that we are not going to reach a place where Rudy Giuliani is going to be the police who is going to decide which women deserve respect or not,” he added. “His comments are piggish, they are outrageous, especially in today’s day and age, and he should be fired immediately by the president.”

Giuliani spoke Wednesday at the “Globes” Capital Market Conference in Israel, where he was asked about Daniels’s allegation that she had an affair with Trump in 2006. Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, has since sued the president to be released from a nondisclosure agreement about the affair.

“I respect women — beautiful women and women with value — but a woman who sells her body for sexual exploitation, I don’t respect,” Giuliani said, adding that he doesn’t believe Daniels’s claims.

“Tell me what damage she suffered,” he added. “Someone who sells his or her body for money has no good name.”

Giuliani and Avenatti have a history of exchanging barbs. Giuliani has called Avenatti an “ambulance chaser” and a “jerk,” while Avenatti has called the former New York City mayor a “complete embarrassment.”
