Tickets for Comey book tour going for as much as $850
Tickets for a live interview event with former FBI Director James Comey are going for as much as $850 ahead of his highly anticipated tell-all on his experience in the bureau and administration before being fired by President Trump.
Comey is embarking on a 10-city tour of promotional appearances for his upcoming book “A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership,” The New York Post reported, with Comey’s memoir already topping best-seller lists through preorders alone.
For one live-recorded town hall event for the New Yorker Radio Hour in New York City next month, the going price for some seats on StubHub has hit $850 apiece, with prices starting about $240. The face value of the tickets is $95.

The April 19 event in New York will come two days after the book’s publication, which has already been moved up by the publisher to meet public demand.
Comey has fueled speculation that he will use the book as an opportunity to swing back at Trump for his firing and the circumstances surrounding his ouster last year amid the federal investigation into Trump campaign associates’ ties to Russia.
“Mr. President, the American people will hear my story very soon. And they can judge for themselves who is honorable and who is not,” Comey tweeted earlier this month.
