Melania Trump makes unannounced trip to Palm Beach

First lady Melania Trump landed in West Palm Beach, Fla., for an unannounced trip on Thursday.

CNN confirmed with law enforcement that Trump landed around midday in the coastal town, where the Trump Organization’s Mar-A-Lago resort is located. It is not clear if she is staying at the resort.

Melania Trump’s office did not immediately respond to an inquiry from The Hill.

Before arriving in Florida on Thursday, the first lady made another unannounced visit to the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C., in recognition of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, which is on Saturday.

The first lady canceled a trip to accompany President Trump to the World Economic Forum in Switzerland this week. 

The first couple did not publicly celebrate their thirteenth wedding anniversary on Monday.
