Trump’s convention speechwriter to tackle inaugural address: report
The author of Donald Trump’s Republican National Convention speech will also pen his inauguration address, Politico reported Monday.
Stephen Miller, Trump’s newly minted senior adviser for policy, handled many of the campaign speeches, including the hour-plus-long address in Cleveland. Miller also served as a frequent opening act for the president-elect during campaign events.

Miller has also worked with Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), Trump’s pick for attorney general, in the past.
Trump’s RNC speech took an unusually dark tone in describing present-day America, pitching that struggles with crime, terrorism, corruption and economics had drained the nation of its greatness.
According to the Politico report, Miller spent last week at Mar-a-Lago consulting campaign insiders and outsiders about the January 20 speech.
