Eric Trump: Clinton camp ‘evil and sick’ for Weather Channel ad buy
Eric Trump slammed the Hillary Clinton campaign after reports that it had planned and then delayed an ad buy on the Weather Channel in Florida ahead of Hurricane Matthew.
{mosads}In an interview with Ohio-based radio host Bob Frantz, Donald Trump’s son criticized the Democratic presidential nominee for being a “typical politician” with the $63,000 Florida ad buy, according to a report by BuzzFeed.
“I’m a guy who, maybe in a certain crazy way, believes in karma,” Trump said in the interview. “There’s something pretty evil and sick about that if you ask me.”
“This is typical politicians for you,” Trump, whose father is the Republican nominee, added.
Clinton’s campaign faced backlash for a plan to spend $63,000 on ads in Florida as the state prepares for a deadly storm. The campaign announced Thursday it would delay the ads until after the storm has passed and noted it had been advertising on the Weather Channel all year.
