Poll: Clinton up 7 in NH
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is leading Republican Donald Trump by 7 points among likely voters in New Hampshire, according to a new WBUR poll.
{mosads}Forty-two percent say they are either committed or leaning toward voting for Clinton, while 35 percent are for Trump.
And by a margin of 40 points, likely voters believe that Clinton did a better job at the first presidential debate than Trump. Eighty percent said they watched the Monday event, held at Hofstra University.
Nearly half, 49 percent, say that the former secretary of State is fit to be president, while just a third say the same about Trump. Sixty-two percent say Trump is unfit, and 46 percent say Clinton is unfit.
The poll surveyed 503 likely voters from September 27 to 29. It has a margin of error of 4.4 percentage points.
