Pro-Clinton super PAC ad asks voters to #StopTheTrumpTrain
A pro-Hillary Clinton super PAC is launching a six-figure digital ad campaign ahead of Monday’s first 2016 presidential debate.
{mosads}Priorities USA, the biggest Democratic super PAC supporting Clinton, will run spots on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram attacking GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump on economic and social issues.
One 30-second ad shows a train coming toward the screen behind text displaying some of Trump’s controversial remarks.
It’s a play off the #TrumpTrain hashtag popularized by his supporters.
“Climbing aboard the ‘Trump Train’ means punishing women for having abortions, embracing sexism and inequality, and ensuring low wages for hardworking families,” Justin Barasky, communications director at Priorities USA, said in a statement.
“Donald Trump is without question the most dangerous and divisive candidate in modern history and he’s uniquely unfit to be President of the United States. This November we must stop him by voting for Hillary Clinton.”
The ads will run in the swing states of Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Florida and Ohio.
