Trump surrogate tweets cartoon of Clinton in blackface
An African-American pastor who has become a prominent surrogate for Donald Trump on Monday shared a cartoon of Hillary Clinton in blackface.
{mosads}“Black Americans, THANK YOU FOR YOUR VOTES and let me use you again..See you again in 4 years,” Mark Burns wrote on Twitter, taking a dig at the Democratic nominee.
The cartoon showed Clinton in blackface and wearing a T-shirt that says “No hot sauce, no peace!”

Earlier this year, Clinton said she carried a bottle of hot sauce in her purse when on the campaign trail.
“I think it keeps my immune system strong,” she told Power 105.1 FM’s “The Breakfast Club” in April.
The show’s host asked Clinton if she was pandering to black voters, comparing the former first lady’s comment to a lyric from Beyoncé’s “Formation.”
Burns also retweeted a photoshopped image of Clinton with long, blonde braids.
“When you need the black vote,” the image read.

Burns spoke at the Republican National Committee in Cleveland last month, delivering a passionate appeal on Trump’s behalf.
He stood by his tweet after facing criticism that it was offensive.
“Yes, I am standing behind that picture. We as African Americans, we need to make Democrats fight for our vote,” he told MSNBC’s “MTP Daily.” “We need to make them do what they say they are going to do because we are just as valuable as every race.”
