Trump questions Cruz’s faith
Donald Trump questioned GOP presidential primary rival Ted Cruz’s Christianity early Friday, asking if his “lies” disqualify him from the faith.
“How can Ted Cruz be an Evangelical Christian when he lies so much and is so dishonest?” he tweeted.

{mosads}Cruz implied fellow candidate Marco Rubio and Trump have opinions similar to President Obama’s on same-sex marriage during a speech in South Carolina on Thursday.
He did not name either rival but suggested that those who would “adhere to the law of the land” are effectively backing the practice.
“Those are the talking points of Barack Obama,” Cruz said at the South Carolina Values Summit of Winthrop University in Rock Hill, S.C.
Those comments appeared to trigger Trump’s tweets.
“Lying Cruz put out a statement, ‘Trump & Rubio are w/Obama on gay marriage,” Trump said of the Texas senator in an earlier post. “Cruz is the worst liar, crazy or very dishonest. Perhaps all three?”

Cruz added that he considers the Supreme Court’s decision in Obergefell v. Hodges last year to be “lawless” and “will not stand.” The landmark case requires that all 50 states allow and recognize same-sex marriages.
