Huckabee suspends campaign
Mike Huckabee on Monday night suspended his presidential campaign after a finishing near the back of the Republican pack in Iowa.
I am officially suspending my campaign. Thank you for all your loyal support. #ImWithHucK

With more than 60 percent of precincts reported, the former Arkansas governor won less than 2 percent of the vote as Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) claimed victory in the Hawkeye State.
Huckabee failed to break out of a crowded GOP field and registered in the single digits in polls despite having won Iowa in 2008.
He became the second presidential candidate to drop out of the race on Monday night. Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley also suspended his campaign after barely registering support in the Democratic caucuses.
