Report: Chelsea Clinton to fundraise solo for Hillary

Chelsea Clinton is reportedly starting 2016 with two solo fundraisers for her mother’s Oval Office bid.

The pair of events mark the first time Chelsea Clinton has campaigned alone for Hillary Clinton this election cycle, according to Time Magazine.

{mosads}Chelsea Clinton is scheduled to attend twin fundraisers in Boston on Jan. 11 before beginning a series of campaign stops in Iowa, New Hampshire and other early voting states.

People attending the fundraisers in Boston are being asked to contribute $250, $500 or $1,000 to Hillary Clinton’s presidential run.

Chelsea Clinton has not appeared by herself during any campaign events for her mother this year. The 35-year-old has instead focused on her duties as vice chair of the border for the Clinton Foundation.

She also promoted her new children’s book, “It’s Your World,” during a tour last autumn. Chelsea Clinton penned the tome for 10-to-14 year olds as a guide for engaging them on issues such as climate change and gender equality.

Chelsea Clinton has refrained from campaigning extensively for her mother because her daughter, Charlotte, is only 15 months old.

When appearing on the campaign trail, she has repeatedly touted her relationship with her mother.

“My mom is my hero and one of the people I love and admire most in the world,” she said on Sept. 15.

Hillary Clinton leads the Democratic presidential field by nearly 23 points, according to the latest RealClearPolitics average.

She meets Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and former Gov. Martin O’Malley (D-Md.) this Saturday in the fourth Democratic presidential debate in Goffstown, N.H.
