Christie threatens cyber warfare against Chinese

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie slammed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Obama for U.S. foreign policy, calling the policies on China in the wake of their cyber attacks “weak and feckless.”

“The Chinese don’t take us seriously,” said Christie at the GOP undercard debate in Milwaukee, Wis. “Why should they?”

{mosads}Christie used another anecdote in his debate performance, explaining that he was personally affected by the recent cyber attack on U.S. government personnel.

“I’m one of the victims of that hack,” admitted Christie. “They took my Social Security number, my fingerprints as former United States attorney … and what has the president done? Not one thing.

“If the Chinese commit cyber warfare against us, they are going to see cyber warfare like they have never seen before.”

Christie called China a closed society — and threatened that, as president, he would broadcast the information he would take from the Chinese government to show the Chinese people.

“Real fun in Beijing when we start showing them how [the Chinese government is] spending their money in China.”
