RNC brings in $25M for latest quarter
The Republican National Committee raised $10.2 million in March, bringing its quarterly haul to a hefty $25.2 million overall.
{mosads}The group has raised just shy of $106 million since the beginning of 2013, and has $12.3 million in the bank after spending heavily to update its tech and field programs, which have lagged behind Democrats’ in recent years.
“We’re so grateful to our donors and supporters who have made this a very successful quarter for us. Thanks to their generosity, we’re able to engage year-round with voters on a community level, and we’re able to make unprecedented investments in developing the best technology for our candidates and volunteers,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus in a statement.
The Democratic National Committee hasn’t released its fundraising totals for March yet. It had raised more than $78 million for the cycle, with $7 million cash on hand and $15.2 million in debt as of the end of February.
