Poll: Obama up big in Minnesota

{mosads}Obama leads Romney 52 percent to 38 in Minnesota. The president has huge leads among his most reliable constituents in Minnesota: female voters, with whom he leads Romney by 22 percent, and young voters, who prefer Obama by 30 percent over Romney.

Voters in Minnesota are largely on board with the president’s recent announcement that he is in favor of same-sex marriage, with 52 percent saying they agree versus 42 percent who disagree.

Obama won Minnesota by 10 percent over Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) in 2008. The Gopher State hasn’t voted for the Republican presidential candidate since 1972.
