Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Friday slammed the Des Moines Register, one day before the newspaper is releasing a key poll in the Hawkeye State’s primary race.

“You have one of the most dishonest right here in your backyard,” Trump said, speaking to a crowd of supporters in Des Moines, Iowa. “The Des Moines Register is the worst. They’re very dishonest.”

{mosads}The billionaire businessman particularly targeted Jennifer Jacobs, the newspapers’s chief politics reporter.

“You have some reporter named Jacobs, she’s the worst,” Trump said. “She will write such misrepresentation. I don’t care. Who cares?”

The Des Moines Register and Bloomberg Politics are slated to release their latest Iowa GOP poll Saturday.

The November version of the poll showed Trump leading with 24 percent support, but retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson hot on his trail at 20 percent.

Trump lamented that “every time the Des Moines Register does a poll, I always do badly” and suggested the newspaper may be skewing its results.

“It’s my opinion that they don’t do it properly,” he said of the polls, before adding: “Now I don’t know that they do that.”

Trump previously clashed with the Des Moines Register after the newspaper ran a July editorial calling for him to end his campaign.

The businessman responded by barring the newspapers reporters from getting press credentials to his events.

Trump touted how he’s leading in nearly all other state and national polls in the GOP presidential race, stopping briefly to lament a Monmouth University poll this week that showed Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in first place in Iowa.

“I’ve never even heard Monmouth. What the hell is Monmouth?” he said. “I only like polls that treat me well.”
