Hillary Clinton’s campaign is using a coveted ticket to “Hamilton” as an incentive to donate to her campaign.
{mosads}The Broadway show that’s been on the stage for less than a year quickly became a sensation, with tickets hard to come by and costing up to $1,000.
In first week of June, The New York Times reported, tickets were an average of $172, while StubHub resale marked up many tickets to nearly $900. Some resale tickets for the show in Chicago have already reached $8,000.
Some have joked on Twitter that Clinton’s raffle for the tickets may be easier than the Broadway show’s own raffle.

Clinton’s campaign will cover hotel and travel for the supporter who wins the lucky ticket. A raffle entry costs $1.
Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda has been vocal in the political sphere this election, and it was reported that Democratic officials reached out to him about appearing at the party’s national convention next month.
As far as Clinton’s favorite track from the musical?
“I really love ‘Non-Stop’ — we should have more songs about the Federalist Papers,” she wrote in the email to supporters.
